Scouts – Group Camp IMPORTANT

To all 6FB Scouts going to camp on Friday:

Some important things to note, including additions to the kit list which is on MyScout:

Personal kit

Scouts will be building rafts on Saturday afternoon. You will need a swimming costume and full change of clothes for this, including footwear that will stay on.

(If anyone does not want to go on the water, please tell me.)

Spending money

There is a tuck shop at Thriftwood which sells souvenir badges and woggles, so you may want to bring some spending money – maximum £5.

Arrival

Please arrive promptly for 7pm on Friday as scouts need to set up their Patrol sites. The individual campsites at Thriftwood are numbered; we will be on sites 12, 17 and 18.

Code Of Conduct

Our Code of Conduct was written in discussion with the Scouts and we have all agreed to follow it, in order to make sure that Scout meetings and activities continue to be productive and enjoyable for everyone.

Please have a read (or re-read) and familiarise yourself with it. The Code of Conduct, Law and Promise are also on display during Scout meetings at Manor Drive.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
