SUMMARY:District Cubs' Bowling Competition
DESCRIPTION:Arrive at 6pm for a 6.30pm start. Hopefully we will be finished at 8pm. \nEach team consists of 8 Cubs. \nBumpers will be up for all and Cubs are not to use the ramp except for medical reasons. If you have a Cub that needs to use the ramp for medical reasons please let me know. \nTo ensure consistency with the score boards the Cubs’ names should be entered and they should not take a picture to appear on the score board.

SUMMARY:Cubs’ Rafting Day
DESCRIPTION:The Barnet Borough Cubs Rafting Day will be on Sunday 15th May 2022 at ESSA Water Activity Centre (www.essa.org.uk) and will follow the same format as previous years i.e. build rafts in the morning then race them after lunch. \nArrive at ESSA for 09.45 for a 10.00 start and we should be finished by 16.30. \nTeams made up of 4 – 8 Cubs at a cost of £15 per Cub. \nCubs should bring a packed lunch & drink(s). They will also need 2 changes of clothes. All safety equipment will be provided by ESSA and 4EB. \nEach team will build their raft in the morning then races will begin after lunch. \nRafts will be inspected for safety during lunch. \nIt will be down to individual Packs to ensure you have consent forms for all your participants. \nPacks will need to complete a BBSD Cubs Rafting ESSA Form May 2022 and a Barnet Borough District Rafting Day Form – 2022 (edit as you wish) which should be handed in on the day. \nThe day is strictly limited to an absolute maximum of 120 participants (TBC as ESSA is under new management) which I need to book and pay for prior to the event date so no refunds. This is also a very popular event and always oversubscribed so book early. Each Pack can enter 1 team although you may be able to enter more than 1 depending on take up – please let me know if you wish to enter another team on initial booking.
