About

Who We Are

Our Scouting adventure started in 1930 and is still going strong!

We used to meet at All Saints’ Church, but now we’ve moved just down the road to Manor Drive.

A while ago we joined in with another Group, the 2nd Friern Barnet, who were previously known as the 186th North London.

We’ve got young people in our Group spread across three sections: Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts and Scouts.

The kind of activity a Scout will do will depend on which section they belong to. Each section has a balanced programme with activities, badges and awards specific to the age range.

And before you mention “Boy Scouts”, just remember that girls are Scouts too!

Our meetings are held at Manor Drive Methodist Church but we’re open to all.
